                                                                     Horror, Drama, Thriller
                                                                                 5.5/10

Women In Black is about a house called Eel Marsh House who is haunted after 40 years, and a group of children stay there after getting evacuated from WWII, but awakes the dark.

At fist we meet a woman and a man on the train talking about the Marsh House and how it has been abandoned for years. We then get a low angle shot of the house showing the audience how dark and terrifying the house looks, and then music starts off very eerie, (building up tension). By watching the trailer we could tell it looked like it was after WWII because of the dated costumes, and how the houses, trains and cars look (dated historical context). After the slow bits of the trailer we get glimpse of the house and toys playing by its self, while a heart beat is playing in the background, building up tension for the jump scare. On the other hand, I liked the fact they used a little boy to do a voice over talking about the woman in black, because it made the film seem more creepy.

The aspects of the trailer that I thought that didn't look good, or would put the audience off was that the trailer was too long before the action kicked off, and when they did a jump scare the suspense wasn't long enough to deliver. I also didn't think it deliverer horror enough, because it showed a little boy going missing and made it look more of  a mystery thriller.

Altogether, I thought the trailer was alright, but could of shown more of the women in black and made the trailer's pace more faster.
