Pusher 2005 Trailer Analysis

                                                                 Pusher 3
                                                                   2005
                                              Genre: Crime, Drama, Horror, Thriller
                                                                   8/10

Pusher is about a drug dealer called Milo (who was in the last two movies), who is aging and planning his daughter's 25th birthday, but a shipment carries out 10.000 of ecstasy instead of heroin and Milo has to sell them before everything breaks loose.

The Pusher Trilogy trailer shows the advents that happened in the last two films, showing the audience what the films are about, (sex, drugs, violence, guns, a lot of gore and cars). The trailer to me shows the gritty reality in some parts of the world.

The positive aspects of the trailer was that it was very faced paced, it kept the audience interested and gave out some of the story.  There are also a lot of inter titles during the trailer from different companies reviews about the film to make more people watch it, and to promote the film more.  The trailer shows a lot of drug dealing going, and some horrendous crime which delivers the film. The music they use slowly builds up with the action to do with the film.

The aspects of the trailer I didn't find successful, and would put off it's target audience would be that not enough plot of the film and that there was too many inter titles. This would put the audience off because they would want to know what the film is actually about. On the other hand, from watching the trailer I can see a lot of subtitles which would put some people off from reading them, as they might miss apart of the film. Also watching this trailer they have used some of the same clips twice which would make the film look 'lazy' and not trying hard enough. Furthermore, I thought some of the montage clips was too fast to look at, and I thought I was missing out key parts of the film.

The score I gave this film trailer was 8/10, because I liked how it started off slow and built up with quick montage clips. I also think that it shows the genuine reflection of the film, but I also think that they show very little of it (the plot). Altogether, the target audience would mainly be for males, as there's no scare factor and more action, I also think it shows off too much strippers and makes the film look sleezey which could put off female target audience.
